  1. The Australian Government is providing $150 million over the five years to 2012‑13 to assist the States to provide up to 600 homes across Australia for families and individuals who are homeless.
  2. The Australian Government has introduced the First Home Owners Boost to provide an additional $7,000 to eligible first home buyers purchasing established homes and an additional $14,000 to eligible first home buyers who purchase a new home. The Australian Government will fully fund the First Home Owners Boost which is to be administered by the States and Territories.
