The Government will provide funding of $0.4 million in 2003-04 to the Employment and Workplace Relations portfolio for minor systems costs associated with improvements to the accuracy, responsiveness and effectiveness of the Commonwealth's budget estimates and framework system.

Provision has been made in the Contingency Reserve for funding for other agencies and bids from those agencies will be considered later in 2003.

Following the Government's consideration of the Budget Estimates and Framework Review, the Government has decided that the Capital Use Charge will be discontinued from 1 July 2003.
